OUR HISTORY
The Knights of Lithuania was founded in 1913 in Massachusetts with a mission to unite Lithuanian-American youth and preserve their language, culture, and traditions in the United States. Today, our organization has expanded to members of the whole family!
We remain dedicated in honoring and celebrating Lithuanian customs, upholding our Catholic tradition, staying aligned with foreign policy of Lithuania, and support Lithuanians through our charities.
BECOME A MEMBER
Joining the Knights of Lithuania connects members with their Lithuanian heritage, supportive community and in-person events. We offer opportunities for cultural preservation, leadership development, and charitable service. Most importantly, members build lifelong friendships while promoting Lithuanian traditions and values.
Upcoming Events
Pittston, PA Council 143 is pleased to host the Amber District Meeting on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at The Monsignor Bendik Center, Church St., Pittston, PA 18640. There will be no virtual options.
The cost for the luncheon will be $20.00 payable to K of L Council 143. It will be a buffet style meal. Please send your reservations to Janet Palladino, 160 Searle Street, Pittston, PA, 18640 or by calling 570655-4761. Since the meal will be catered, reservations are needed no later than February 22, 2026.
SCHEDULE:
11:30 am - Sunday Mass honoring St. Casimir can be attended at St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston, PA (Across the street from the Bendik Center). We are planning to have a 4th degree ceremony after the Mass.
1:00 pm - Luncheon will be served.
